Dragons' Den aims to give writers a leg up

Literary agents and editors are coming to the city to sign up writers to their agencies.

Portsmouth Writers’ Hub is launching its Meet The (Literary) Dragons event on November 30 in Menuhin Theatre, Guildhall Walk.

Writers will be given the chance to pitch their ideas and will receive an immediate ‘yes, please submit your book to me’ or ‘no, this is not for me’.

Successful candidates will be invited to submit their manuscripts to the agency. Unsuccessful candidates will receive free feedback on their chapter one.

The event starts at 6pm with the dragons arriving at 6.30pm. After a Q&A and networking, writers will then pitch live to the panel.
