AN ELECTRIC car that is attempting to complete a 2,500-mile bucket list road trip will be passing through Portsmouth.

The Route 57 will come to the city on April 8 as part of its journey through 57 must-see destinations across England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland.

The road trip runs from April 6 until April 26, starting in Plymouth and ending in Galway.

Route 57 was designed as the UK and Ireland’s answer to US Route 66, by Jurys Inn Hotels.
