A SOFT furnishing store in Emsworth is expanding and opening new premises.

Sue Foster Interiors will open its new showroom in the High Street on October 18, and will keep its existing base in Queen Street for production operations.

Chris Gorton, managing director, said: ‘We have expanded rapidly over the past few years, despite the economic climate, and have outgrown our existing premises at 14 Queen Street.’

Havant mayor Paul Buckley will officially open the new store at 11am.

Sue Foster founded the company more than 35 years ago, and it was bought by Chris and Vicky Gorton in 2006.
