THERE is still chance to register for a pancake race.

The mayor of Havant, Councillor Paul Buckley, will start the race heats at the event in London Road Precinct Waterlooville, next week on Shrove Tuesday.

It is organised by Havant Borough Council and Waterlooville Business Association.

Bray Associates, the organisers of the Friday street market in Waterlooville, will donate £200 to the winning team for a donation to their chosen charity.

Cllr Buckley said: ‘It would be wonderful to see Waterlooville businesses
take part in this fun charity event.

‘The pancake race has been popular and enjoyed by everyone in previous
years and I hope this year
will also be flipping marvellous.
