AN ESTATE agency has won a gold award at one of the most prestigious events for the property industry.

Robinson Reade won the award in the Best Letting Agent category at the ESTAS.

The Whiteley-based agency received the award from TV property expert Phil Spencer at a ceremony at the Grosvenor House, Park Lane, London, which was attended by 900 of the UK’s top property professionals.

The awards, now in their 13th year, recognise the best estate and letting agents in the UK through research carried out among clients.

More than 30,000 questionnaires were completed by customers during this year’s competition.

Robinson Reade Jane Earley, owner of Robinson Reade, said: ‘We are absolutely thrilled to be recognised at this year’s ESTAS.

‘It means so much to us as we know it’s our customers who have judged our performance. We take our levels of customer service very seriously because we know clients have a choice.

‘We have always been very proud of the personal service we offer and this award proves we are delivering what we promise.’

Estate and letting agents were shortlisted in 15 regions around the UK.

National Grand Prix Awards were also announced for the Best Single Agent Office in sales and lettings.

Simon Brown, founder of the ESTAS, said: ‘The ESTAS are special because shortlisted and winning firms are selected purely on the service they deliver to their clients.

‘In fact just taking part shows a firm’s commitment to their customers so to be shortlisted is a great achievement in itself.

‘For the winners this is the highest accolade they can receive in the industry.’

Jon Notley, chief commercial officer of headline sponsor Zoopla, said: ‘We were delighted to once again support this key industry event. Customer feedback is essential to any organisation and it is fantastic to see the best in the industry being recognised for their efforts.’
