PUPILS from schools across Portsmouth have been rewarded for collecting Tesco sports vouchers.

Youngsters who collected the most vouchers for their schools were presented with prizes by Portsmouth North MP Penny Mordaunt at the superstore in North Harbour, Portsmouth.

Pictured with Ms Mordaunt is 10-year-old Harry Adlington, a pupil at Paulsgrove Primary in Cheltenham Road, Paulsgrove, Portsmouth, who collected the prize for his school.

Thousands of Tesco vouchers have been collected by schoolchildren across the city.

The haul will be used to help fund sports equipment in a bid to encourage youngsters to keep fit and healthy.
