A POST Office will extend its opening hours to offer services seven days a week.

The Post Office in The Southern Co-Operative store, on Sultan Road, Buckland, will be opening seven days a week from 7am until 11pm providing an extra 66 hours of service.

A combination counter in the store will have both a Post Office terminal and a normal till and services will be available during the store’s opening hours.

Customers will be able to pay in cash, make withdrawals, apply for travel insurance, return online goods and top up their mobile phones.

Adrian Skinner, area manager, said: ‘We know how important Post Office services are to residents in Portsmouth and we are confident this vibrant new-style Post Office at the heart of the community will be popular.’

The Post Office was closed yesterday for refurbishments.
