A COUNTRY market in Fareham is going to run twice a month after it has become increasingly popular.

Hampshire Country markets will run an additional market on the second Friday of every month, starting tomorrow.

It will operate in addition to the market which is currently organised on the last Saturday of every month.

The goods sold are all home-grown, home-made or home-crafted.

They will typically include freshly-baked cakes, pastries and savouries, jams, jellies, marmalades and chutneys, eggs and honey, home-grown fruit and vegetables in season, well-known and unusual plants and traditional and contemporary crafts.

The country market will run from 9am until 3pm in the Performance Podium in Fareham.
