A FAMILY of hair stylists are gearing up to open their first salon.

Kelly Dove, from Sarisbury Green, has set up Hair Lux, in Shore Road, Warsash.

The 39-year-old decided to set up her own firm after working as a manager for other hair businesses.

She will be working at Hair Lux with her daughter Olivia Reeves, 18, who is studying at Academy at No.5 in Fareham. Kelly’s mother Jenny Newman will be joining the team as receptionist and Kelly’s mother-in-law Pat Dove, also a stylist, will be helping get the business established. Kelly’s cousin Sarah Baines will be working as a stylist, as will family friend Jan Taylor.

The salon, a former estate agents office, will be open from 10am on Saturday.

Kelly said: ‘I thought it would be something we could all do together. I love Warsash, it’s a really lovely place.’
