FOUR generations of the same family have come together for a big reunion.

Sporting name badges and big smiles, members of the Tooke family tree met up at the Watermark restaurant in Port Solent for a once-in-a-generation event.

Around 84 family members from all over the country were at the reunion, all related to the late Fred Tooke, from Portsmouth, and his eight brothers and sisters who have all since died.

Tamsin Hoare, who is Fred’s granddaughter, and who lives in West Leigh, said: ‘We last had a reunion 25 years ago, and there were jokes that we’d see each other in another 25.

‘It was great, and it was good to see everybody there.’
