Family business makes kind hospice donation

A POWDER coating company in Portsmouth has made a generous donation to Rowans Hospice.

APR Powder Coating recently made a donation of £500 Rowans, the hospice dedicated to improving the lives of people and families living with life-limiting illnesses in Portsmouth and South East Hampshire.

The fundraising event was organised by a friend of Jim and Sara Merriott, who recently lost a loved one that Rowans cared for at their hospice in Purbrook, Waterlooville.

Jim said: ‘The hospice relies on the generosity of the local community and its businesses, so it’s incredibly important that we help where we can.

‘Each year it costs £5.5 million for the hospice to continue its invaluable work, so support is vital to continue their great work.’
