A TEAM of cyclists raised more than £1,000 after cycling 528 miles.

Employees of Fareham-based Amiri Construction cycled from St Malo to Bordeaux covering more than 500 miles in three days. They managed to raise £1,015 for St Wilfrid’s Hospice in Chichester.

Grahame Pettit, managing director of Amiri Construction, based at Furze Hall Farm Parkway, off Wickham Road, said: ‘Handing over the cheque makes the three hard days of cycling feel even more worthwhile.’
