COMING face-to-face with barracudas and angel fish while in a two-man bubble under the sea will soon become a possibility for holidaymakers in Miami, thanks to a little help from logistics firm PSP.

The logistics firm, based in Segensworth, has transported the world’s first MSV Explorer stateside and the vessel is set to be used by tourists to get closer to the underwater action in the Key West Reef.

The vessel looks like a boat on wheels with a submarine underneath, and can be driven down the beach and then launched into the water, where two users can climb into the viewing cockpit below to see marine wildlife.

It was designed by Chris Garner in Plymouth, and has been bought by businessman Wayne Mitchell, who saw the potential to commercialise the craft and market it to the tourism sector in conjunction with Miami’s hotels.
