STAFF at IBM North harbour and Portsmouth Football Club have come together to try and give even more support to the local community under the Shaping the Future of Portsmouth banner.

Attending from Pompey was CEO David Lampitt, commercial director Lucius Peart and Clare Martin, Pompey Study Centre director.

Last week the team from the football club won the Community Contribution Award in The News’ Business Excellence Awards 2011.

Stuart Hill, IBM North Harbour location executive, said: ‘IBM North Harbour has a huge pool of willing and talented volunteers, and Portsmouth Football Club has a well-established programme of activities which need volunteer support.

‘Now seems like the perfect opportunity to leverage the assets which both our organisations have, and make real difference to the city.’
