A DENMEAD accountancy firm is celebrating an outstanding 2013.

Gibson Whitter, a chartered accountants and chartered tax advisers, has grown in its first year during which it has taken on 300 clients.

The team has welcomed chartered accountant James Phelan, from a top 10 accountancy firm, and apprentice Luke Attrill has just won the Highbury College AAT Student of the Year 2013 award. He enjoyed a celebratory lunch with winners from other colleges.

Gibson Whitter director, Gavin Whitter, said: ‘The team at Gibson Whitter are thrilled with the progress the firm has made since its launch last year and could not be happier for Luke.

‘The quality and experience that James brings to the firm is a huge asset and reinforces our commitment to outstanding client service and to attracting talented and enthusiastic people to our team.’
