A NEW business started in Cowplain is already making a difference to the community.

Chris and Kelly Pullinger only began the Mini Me Markets in the middle of March, but as well as getting their fledgling business off the ground, they will be raising cash for Cancer Research UK in 2013.

Their business is table-top sales, aimed at selling goods for expectant parents right up to parents of teenagers.

Chris, 32, said: ‘Our events are more than just a market of buying and selling – we provide a platform for fun child-friendly events.’

The pair’s decision to raise money for Cancer Research UK has come as Kelly’s father is being treated for cancer of the oesophagus, something she describes as ‘life changing’ for the whole family.

She said: ‘We want to help and support Cancer Research and are planning a host of activities to complement Mini Me during 2013.’
