THE managing director of Fontwell Park racecourse is set to leave next week.

Holly Glover took on her role in January, and now she is swapping horses for football as she will become commercial manager at the FA’s new home of football coaching and education.

She will be replaced as general manager at Fontwell by Tracy Skinner, formerly on the management team at Newcastle racecourse.

Phil Bell remains in an overseeing role as Northern Racing’s executive director for the south east.

He said: ‘We wish Holly all the best in her new position with the FA.

‘She’s given Northern Racing seven years of excellent service in sales and management roles.

‘We’re delighted to be welcoming Tracy to Fontwell Park – she’s a first-class manager with an excellent sales record.’

Holly was at Fontwell Park last Boxing Day, just before she took over as general manager, when 8,000 poured through the gates.

She is hoping for a repeat of that this weekend.

She said: ‘We’re aiming to make Fontwell Park the perfect place for a Jubilee party.’
