FOOTBALL fever will be coming to a timber and builders’ merchants.

Covers Timber and Builders Merchants will be hosting a free trade day at their Chichester branch to celebrate the upcoming summer of football festivities.

The day will be held on Wednesday, June 8.

From 7am, customers will be able to test their football prowess by scoring as many points as they can as they kick the ball in to Covers’ goal.

The person with the highest score at the end of the day will win a DeWalt Hammer Drill Driver. A hog roast will be available to buy and customers spending over £25 in store will also take home a free Covers’ football shirt.

Martyn Beck, depot manager, said: ‘We’ve got a lot of avid football fans here at Covers so it will be a great way to share our excitement and passion for the sport with our customers and get into the spirit of things.’

Covers Chichester, in Quarry Lane, will be open between 7am and 5pm on Wednesday, June 8 and everyone is welcome to attend.
