A FORMER MP will be speaking about Brexit and the Trump presidential election at a charity event.

Mark Hoban, who was MP for Fareham, will be talking at a meeting to promote the Rainbow 100 Club – a group of businesses that have joined together to help support the Rainbow Centre in Fareham.

Since leaving parliament, Mr Hoban has developed a portfolio of city roles, including director of the London Stock Exchange, plus more.

CEO Lara Bull of the Rainbow Centre, which supports adults and children with cerebral palsy, said: ‘We’re delighted that Mark is able to be our guest speaker, I’m sure that he will provide very relevant insights for our members and guests to consider.’

The event will take place on Thursday at the Grand Café in Southampton at midday until 3.30pm. Tickets cost £30 and include lunch. Go to rainbowcentre.org/events/100-club-lunch/
