AN OFFICE block manager has made an unusual offer to prospective tenants of his premises.

Jonny Boys, managing director of Trafalgar Wharf and the Drystack, said he was offering to refund 100 per cent of rent, moving costs, letterhead and business card printing to any business owner who moved into Gatcombe House in Hilsea but wasn’t happy with it.

Mr Boys, of Portsmouth, said there were just eight offices left in the building out of 47.

He said: ‘With the current shortage of small to medium sized offices in the Portsmouth area, we felt it would be exciting for business owners to rent an office in a beautiful Grade II listed building.’

Gatcombe House manager Edward Younghusband said: ‘We have been very careful in our decorating and modernising choices for the building. There has been a huge amount of interest from the public with regards to what we are doing here and that has shown in our occupancy levels. We have all types of businesses here including a solicitor, accountants firm, and a recruitment company.’
