STAFF at a hotel chain are preparing to go around the world this weekend at their annual charity challenge.

The fundraiser at the Hilton, in Farlington, will see staff joining up with others in the hotel chain to virtually travel a total of 25,000 miles – the circumference of the world – for worthy good causes.

The public can help out with the challenge, on Saturday, when there will be static cycle and rowing machines, a bouncy castle, games and a barbecue, from midday to 4pm.

It will benefit Off The Record and Hannah’s Holiday Home. Pam Marshall, who founded the charity in her daughter’s memory, said: ’The staff have been working so hard to guarantee another fantastic family fun day.

‘Poppin’ Ron from Britain’s Got Talent will be strutting his stuff. I’ve got my fingers crossed for sunshine and we hope lots of people go along.’
