FREEHOLD ground rents on 25 purpose-built flats in Gosport are to be auctioned this month.

They are among 16 lots being sold by regional auctioneer Clive Emson at the Ageas Bowl on March 22.

Currently generating £1,875 a year, the ground rents have a guide price of £30-35,000 and are for Lansdowne House in Inverness Road.

Elsewhere in Gosport, a three-storey building arranged as three flats and recently used by a housing association, has a freehold guide of £140-160,000 and is at 9 Victoria Street.

A shop and two garages at 68a Brewers Lane, with lapsed planning permission for a new shop and two flats, has a freehold estimate of £75-85,000.

Executors have instructed the sale of a semi-detached house at 75 Linden Grove, Alverstoke, with a freehold guide of £145-155,000.
