NEARLY 2,700 students packed out a graduate recruitment fair at The University of Portsmouth.

The fair attracted 55 employers with around 1,500 possible jobs. IBM sponsored the event and among the employers attending were Amazon, Xytratex, Philips and Hewlett Packard.

Employers were invited to attend to recruit new graduate staff and to offer work placement opportunities.

The Employability Department’s next events include a teaching fair on Friday, January 11, and a law fair on Wednesday, February 20.
