A NEWLY-REVAMPED home improvement store will open its doors with a halloween-themed fun day.

There will be a host of spooky activities in the new-look B&Q in Purbrook Way, Havant, between 11am and 4pm on Saturday.

On the day, customers will be able to take part in fun activities and competitions. Families are encouraged to come dressed in fancy dress to be in with a chance to win prizes.

There will be creepy crafts for kids to create their own decorations to take home, including paper pumpkins and spiders and bats – and the best will win prizes.

Scary stilt walkers will be picking winners between midday and 2pm on the day.

There will be a face painter to transform customers and a balloon modeller to twist freaky shapes.

The store has been modernised throughout.

Steve Duff, manager, said: ‘We can’t wait to welcome customers to our revamped store and celebrate with a day of spook-tacular family fun. We’re ready to show off our new look to Havant’s residents and inspire them to start a new home improvement project under the guidance of our expert advice.’
