Hampshire dominates at BFA franchise awards

TWO Hampshire businesses have been recognised for their passion and commitment to ethical franchising at the British Franchise Association HSBC Franchisor of the Year Awards 2017.

Petersfield-based Bluebird Care took home a gold medal after winning franchisor of the year and Expense Reduction Analysts (ERA) won bronze in the same category. Since 2006 Bluebird has provided live-in support and tailored care visits across the UK and ROI.

Duncan Berry, chief operating officer at Bluebird said: ‘We work hard to differentiate ourselves in the homecare market and this award is a reflection of the progress we are making.’

ERA has 142 franchises across the UK and Ireland. The cost management and procurement consultancy work to optimise supplier relationships, reduce outgoings and generate additional profit. ERA was founded in 1992 and recently moved to Ocean Villa, Southampton.
