SWAIN & Co family mediation service has held on to a specialist quality mark given to firms which help and support separated families.

The ‘mark’ is awarded to organisations that can demonstrate commitment to helping separated parents collaborate in the best interests of their children as they go deal with the practicalities of their separation.

The mark is managed and promoted by 4Children. It was initially launched a year ago as part of the Department for Work and Pensions’ wider help and support for separated families programme.

Samantha Lee, family mediator at the Havant firm, said: ‘I am proud that Swain & Co’s Family Mediation Service holds this quality mark.

‘We work hard to promote the best interests of children.

‘We help people reach agreements after their separation which ensure that everyone benefits.

‘Children can easily be harmed in the process of a separation so by focusing on their best interests and practises we can help keep children settled and affected as little as possible.’
