PEOPLE can have their say over the future of Kingston Prison in Portsmouth.

A public exhibition of plans for the historic Copnor site’s future use is being held tomorrow.

The consultation, run by the venue’s new owner City & Country, will give people the chance to share their visions and aspirations.

Helen Moore, managing director of City & Country, which specialises in restoration projects, said: ‘We are delighted to be holding the first public consultation regarding the future use of HM Prison Kingston.

‘There is a great deal of interest in the prison and this is an excellent opportunity for the local community to share their ideas for the site, as well as voicing any concerns they may have.’

She added: ‘City & Country has a distinguished history working with a range of interesting and challenging buildings, and we’re relishing the opportunity of delivering a new scheme here in Portsmouth.’

The consultation runs from 3pm and 8pm at the prison, off Milton Road.
