A HOTEL in Alverstoke has been sold off in the hope it will again be a success.

The Old Lodge Hotel used to be a busy hotel with a thriving sideline in food and drink, but has been closed after becoming insolvent.

It has been sold jointly by Colliers International and Savills.

Adam Bullas, from Savills, said: ‘We had a queue of buyers for the hotel, so when one dropped away another stepped straight into their shoes.’
