Innovation centre uses reception app by Fareham company

Oxford Innovation, which has 24 centres across the country including Fareham Innovation Centre at Daedalus, has installed the new system across 10 of its sites.

Build by MediaBase Direct, in Fareham, the e-Reception Book is a tablet-based app which replaces the normal visitors’ books.

Stephen Brownlie, Oxford Innovation Regional Manager for Solent, said: ‘We are an innovation centre and so I wanted to get in an innovative system that was flexible, adaptable, easy-to-use in our busy innovation centres and compliant.

‘I was looking for a local company and came across MBD – and now we have a great relationship.

‘I am very happy with them — they listened to our needs and built a system that worked for us.’
