A FAREHAM insurance firm has taken top honours at an industry awards event.

Towergate Insurance was given the investing in the profession award at the British Insurance Awards, held at the Royal Albert Hall in London and hosted by TV personality Jonathan Ross.

The award, sponsored by the Chartered Insurance Institute, recognised Towergate for successfully championing the development of professionalism and the spread of best practice across its business.

Stuart Grieb, managing director of Towergate, said: ‘We are immensely proud.

‘It’s a great feeling to know that the judges believed our commitment to providing the very best in insurance advice was worthy of this accolade.’
