AN INSURANCE firm has announced a fresh wave of job cuts, including 94 from its Whiteley office.

Zurich, which has its personal lines base at 3000 Park Way, Whiteley, is moving its claims line to Endsleigh, a subsidiary company based in Cheltenham, and will be cutting 121 jobs in total, split between Whiteley and its Glasgow operation.

The move is expected to happen from March onwards.

The senior management at the company has also changed, with its managing director John Dyke and UK personal lines claims director Jon Cawley announcing their intention to leave at the end of their year.

The company said it would be looking at redeploying people, offering voluntary redundancies and not replacing people after they leave.

And that it would be simplifying its claim process.
