THE founder of a nationwide kitchen facelift company that has its roots in Gosport is celebrating after winning a trophy for high standards.
Troy Tappenden, who is also the managing director of Dream Doors, collected the award for Best Franchisee Marketing Support at this year’s Franchise Marketing Awards.
The company operates through franchising its showrooms across England, with one also in the Channel Islands.
Dream Doors has been shortlisted for at least one award in each of the six years the awards have been running.
In the last three years the franchise has been shortlisted nine times, winning five awards in total.
‘Five awards from fifteen finals, that’s a one-in-three strike rate,’ said Mr Tappenden.
This year’s trophy – presented to the franchiser that could demonstrate the highest standards in training and a marketing strategy that delivers cost-effective results – sits alongside previous decorations for Best Brand Management and Best Recruitment Advertisement in 2009, and Best Advertisement and Best Overall Marketing Campaign last year.
‘This award in particular means a great deal to everyone at Dream Doors,’ added Mr Tappenden. ‘We put an incredible amount of work into helping our franchisees co-ordinate their marketing activities, all of which ensures they see a return on their investment.
