MORE than 50 jobs are to be created at a Whiteley business as it expands.

Telecommunications firm Onecom has won a £500m contract from mobile phone giant Vodafone and it is now on the lookout for more staff to cope with the demand.

It will recruit 200 sales staff to work across the country at its outlets in Whiteley, Southampton, Camberley, Plymouth, Leeds, Telford, Norwich and Brighton.

Onecom chief executive Darren Ridge said it would also be hiring to fill 50 customer service roles in Whiteley.
