THE date of a meeting to consider more changes to a senior management restructure programme has been confirmed.

Portsmouth City Council’s employment committee will get together on March 3 to see if funding is available from the city’s NHS Clinical Commissioning Group to merge teams that manage contracts with those that commission healthcare.

The move would help to save more on top of the £500,000 being saved this year through axing four director posts. There will now be one layer of senior management.
