LAND in Bedhampton that had once been identified as a possible site for a new training ground for Portsmouth Football Club has gone on sale.

Commercial property company Vail Williams has been instructed to sell the land.

It is located between the A3(M) and College Road, just to the south of Southdowns College.

It is currently used for agricultural purposes and has an area of approximately 27 acres.

The land will be sold on an unconditional basis.
