Voting has nearly closed to the public in two categories in this year’s Portsmouth Venus Awards in association with Peter Cooper Motor Group.

The News is sponsoring the public vote category of Customer Service Award.

The awards celebrate the vital contribution that women in business make to the local, regional, and national economy, and are unique in that anyone can nominate a friend, client or family member.

Continuing their association for a fourth year, Heart FM is sponsoring the enormously popular public vote category of Business Mother of the Year.

Video clips of the 26 semi-finalists in both categories can now be viewed online and voted for by the public on the Venus Awards website at venusawards.co.uk/portsmouth.

Voting closes at midnight tonight.

The names of the three semi-finalists in each category who have received the most public votes will be revealed along with other categories at the finalists announcement on Tuesday, March 22 at the Langstone, Portsmouth.

The final ceremony and gala dinner will be held at The Pyramids on Friday, May 6.

The Venus Awards were set up in Dorset in 2009 by Tara Howard to recognise the hard work, effort and skill it takes women to successfully juggle business with other commitments.
