POSTMEN and women at the city’s delivery office have been visited by the Lord Mayor of Portsmouth.

Councillor Lynne Stagg visited Royal Mail’s Portsmouth delivery office to pass on Christmas wishes and encouragement to staff during their busiest time of year.

The Lord Mayor was shown round the centre by delivery office manager, Rees Ruchat, who said: ‘Our people do a fantastic job at this time of year to ensure that friends and families stay in touch through their Christmas greetings and gifts.’
