PARTS of the M27 will be closed because of repairs this week.

The M27 junction 12 for Portsmouth will be affected, with resurfacing taking place.

The westbound entry sliproad will closed overnight, between 10pm and 6am tonight and tomorrow.

A diversion will be in place via the A2030 Eastern Road.

Later in the week, more work will take place.

On Thursday, junction eight at Bursledon will be closed for work on the road markings.

The eastbound exit sliproad will close overnight, between 10pm and 6am.

The westbound exit sliproad will close overnight, between 10pm and 6am, on Friday.

Diversions will be in place via junctions seven and nine, according to the Highways Agency.
