A MAJOR refurbishment has taken place at the main Portsmouth Post Office.

The branch in Slindon Street has been modernised as part of a multi-million pound investment programme.

There are new open-plan counters, as well as a counter to accept mail.

Four new self-service kiosks have been introduced.

The branch now has two private consultation
rooms where customers can speak to advisors about
the range of financial services products, as well as home phone and broadband services.
