Have your say

COME and tell me what you think of The News by joining me on the big blue sofa next week.

I like nothing more than getting out from behind my desk and about in the communities we serve. So next week I will be heading off on another editor’s roadshow to listen to what you like – or don’t like – about the newspaper.

It’s vital that I listen carefully to your views and the majority of the changes to the paper over the years have been as a direct result of reader research.

And sharing your thoughts could win you £5!

At each session we’ll be handing out prize envelopes to readers who bring a coupon from the previous day’s News (Monday’s coupon will appear this Saturday). The envelopes contain a £5 note, a £1 lottery scratchcard or a voucher which entitles you to a free ‘happy ad’ up to the value of £27 in our family announcements section.

We will also be handing out breakfast bars to anybody who stops to have a chat. (Envelopes and breakfast bars are limited to 100 per day).

So come and talk to me on our big blue sofa when we take it to the following venues:

* Monday, March 17: Cascades, Portsmouth (9am-midday).

* Tuesday, March 18: Gosport Discovery Centre (9am-midday).

* Wednesday, March 19: Fareham Shopping Centre (9am-midday).

* Thursday, March 20: Asda, Waterlooville (11am-2pm).

* Friday, March 21: Meridian Centre, Havant (9am-midday).

Alternatively, if you cannot make one of the roadshows then I will be taking calls on Monday evening from 5pm to 6.30pm.

Please call (023) 9262 2204.
