BRITISH MEPs are being outvoted in the European Parliament 84 per cent of the time they try to stop new laws going through, research has revealed.

The group Business for Britain has found that majority of British MEPs voted against 576 of the 1,936 motions put before the European Parliament between 2009 and 2014, however 84 per cent of these motions still passed.
