IN LESS than a year, Hydro Technical Solutions has gone from an empty warehouse to a thriving business.

The water equipment supplier and engineering company is based in Heritage Business Park in Gosport, and was started by former chemical industry expert, David Fielding and friend, Lawrence Moore.

They have received £45,000 in funding. The money will be used to hire more staff and expand on their current distribution equipment.

David said: ‘We’re grateful to have received the funding which will help as we approach our next year.

‘The money means we can invest more in the equipment and hire the staff we require as we expand.’

He added that the Bridging the Gap fund was an excellent idea by the Solent LEP.

He said: ‘All businesses start off small and I think it is great that funding is there to help them become well-known firm.’
