YOUNG people who need help looking for work are being invited to a one-off event at Portsmouth Football Club this week.

Hosted by Portsmouth North MP Penny Mordaunt, Penny’s Pompey Job Skills will take place on Friday, October 25 from 10.30am to 2.30pm. Topics covered during the day will include CV building, interview techniques, using the internet to find work, volunteering, apprenticeships, education and training.

The event is free to attend and those wishing to do so just have to drop in at Fratton Park. Organisations such as Portsmouth City Council, colleges, volunteering bodies and the University of Portsmouth will be there on the day.
