SKILLS Minister Nick Boles has urged people in Fareham to attend an apprenticeship fair being organised by town MP Suella Fernandes next week.

Responding to a question in Parliament from Miss Fernandes, he gave his support to the event, which will take place at Fareham College in Bishopsfield Road, on Friday, February 12, from 10am until 3pm.

Mr Boles said: ‘I urge everyone in Fareham to attend.’

The fair is open to people of any age who are looking for new opportunities to improve their skills and employment prospects.

Many local and national businesses and organisations will be there, including Parcar, Fareport Training, Nats, Lloyds, the Royal Navy and the British Army, Reed, Fareham Leisure Centre and Babcock Training.

Miss Fernandes said: ‘I’m delighted to have the minister’s support for next week’s event.’
