GOSPORT MP Caroline Dinenage has welcomed a fall in unemployment in her constituency.

There are 96 fewer people claiming out-of-work benefit in the town than at this point in 2012.

She said: ‘When I was elected in 2010, there was only half a job for every person of working age in Gosport. With more exciting developments coming to Gosport thanks to the Local Enterprise Partnership and the Bridging the Gap fund, I am confident that we are on the road to a sustainable recovery.’
