A DEAL has been set up between the Compass Group’s leisure and hospitality business and Hampshire cricket’s home ground at the Rose Bowl.

The two companies have signed a 12-year deal worth up to £4m in annual revenue.

The venture, which will trade as Rose Bowl Experience Ltd, will see Compass provide all retail and hospitality food service for The Rose Bowl’s match-day and conference and banqueting business, which currently attracts up to a quarter of a million visitors per year from across the county and further afield.

This deal forms part of the £48m redevelopment of The Rose Bowl to enhance the cricketing, spectator and media facilities, as well as banqueting and event facilities.
