‘Although I have been freelancing for some time and still provide design services to businesses, I took the great leap into designing wedding stationery following the birth of my second child and organising and styling my own wedding day in 2016.

‘I’m a textile designer by trade and after working in graphic design for five years. I studied in London towards a BA and an MA.

‘I graduated in 2010 and loved London but the countryside is my home and as you’ll see by my portfolio of designs, it features heavily in my hand drawn and illustrated work.

‘My background as a textile designer shines through in my stylised full pattern designs paired with beautiful typography and quirky characters, all of which are hand drawn, painted or illustrated myself.

‘I would love to grow my business in 2017. As well as this award, I am also excited to announce that I have been invited as a partner on Not On The High Street, which is pretty big news for my business and makes me proud.’

The shortlist for the UK Wedding Awards 2017, which recognises the very best of the UK’s bridal industry, has been voted on by the public

The winners will be announced in spring.
