RAPPERS and DJs will entertain young job seekers at an arts careers fair.

The organisation Creative Futures is holding the free event at The Spring, in Havant, for young people aged 13 to 21.

It is hoped the talented musicians and speakers will inspire the youngsters to pursue a career in the arts.

Organiser Matt West said: ‘We wanted to do something different, something exciting. I think we have pulled it off.

‘The Creative Futures day will hopefully inspire young people giving them a really special insight into what it is like to work in the arts industry. This will be an event like no other.’

There will be live performances from headline guests Mark Grist, Dizraeli and Bellatrix.

Afterwards there will be a question and answer session with the performers.

Visitors will then have a final chance to visit the information stalls from organisations such as Chichester College, South Downs College, SOCO Music Project, Music Fusion and The Musicians’ Union.

The event is on Tuesday, March 25, from 2pm.

Wristbands are needed for the event.
