FOOTPATHS and public spaces at Kite’s Croft Local Nature Reserve in Fareham will temporarily close to the public.

The closure is part of work that is being carried out by the National Grid to refurbish an electricity line between Fawley and Lovedean.

The work is due to start today and is expected to continue until the end of May.

The second phase of work is planned to begin in late June and run until early August.

During these periods, areas of Kite’s Croft, Lambert’s Coppice, Privet Coppice and the area in between Southampton Road and Segensworth Road will be closed to the public.

Anyone with any queries can call the National Grid on 0800 3777 342 or email info@communityrelations.co.uk.
