A TEA ROOM has been thanked for its hospitality by a business group.

Gracie Ann’s, at the Trading Post, in Port Solent, has become the temporary home for 4N Networking breakfast meetings.

Owner of the tea rooms, Diane Newsham, is a member of the business networking group and stepped in to help when area leader, Diane Moore, needed to find a temporary venue for the meetings. Its normal site is being refurbished.

Diane said: ‘I have been a member of the 4N group since early last year and have had a tremendous amount of help and support from members in establishing my business locally.

‘So for me this was a great opportunity to say thank you.

‘The team at Gracie Ann’s were more than happy to help us, even though it meant an earlier start of 8am.

‘It demonstrates our flexibility in providing catering for all types of events, from business breakfast meetings to luxury afternoon teas.’

Ms Moore, added: ‘We were delighted that Gracie Ann’s could accommodate us. We like to be able to offer our members great venues to meet and expand their networking links.

‘The group at Port Solent is a flagship group, which has a regular attendance of more than 28 businesses.

‘It’s 50 per cent social and 50 per cent business with members from all sorts of sectors from graphic designers to fitness coaches.

‘So if you are just starting out on your business venture or want to expand your existing business and need some help, why not come along.’
